PixCheckr

Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026

By using PixCheckr you agree to these terms.

What PixCheckr is

PixCheckr is a risk-indicator tool. It looks for signs that images on a website may belong to news agencies, stock libraries or other third parties. It is not legal advice. A high score does not prove infringement, and a low score does not prove you hold the rights to an image. Keep your own licences and records, and get legal advice about any specific claim.

Your use

Only scan websites you own or manage, or that you have the owner's permission to scan. Don't use PixCheckr to harass others, overload websites or build claims against other people's sites.

Payments and refunds

A full report is a one-off payment per website, shown in New Zealand dollars at checkout, and includes the number of rescans stated on the pricing page. If a scan fails for a reason within our control and we cannot fix it, we will refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.

Limits

Scans read public pages only and may miss images, especially on sites with bot protection, private areas or very large page counts. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the report concerned.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version here. Questions: hello@pixcheckr.app. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
